2.1. For �r such permit for th� erection of �r fire-proof buildin�, other than
a�ara�e, warehouse, factorar or grain eleeatar, or for the erection of an� fire�-
proo� sddi�ion, for si.�i7.er occupancyp to any existing bu3ldir�g sk�.l. be at the
rate of $1.4A for each one thous�nd cubic feet, or fract3oa thereof, in such �
cubical cont�erits�

I understand yo� are assisting in th� sale of the residence at 7601 Alden Way in the City of
Fric�ey, and a question has arisen regarding a future assessment on the. property for street
improvements.
The �ity Council is expected at the May 20, 1996 meeting to approve the improvement of Alden
Way between Osborne Way and 79th Way. This project is to be included in our 1996 street
improvement project and be assessed to the abutting properties based upon a front assessment of
not-to-exceed $11 per front foot. The formal assessment on the project will not be initiated until
the project is completed in approximately October, 1996.
The property at 7601 Alden Way has a front footage of 80 feet. Based upon the established value
of not-to-exceed $11 per front foot, the maximum assessment for the curb and gutter iruprovement
for Alden Way on this property would be $88Q. Payment would not be required unti130 days after
off'icial notice of the assessment or it would be levied on the property over a 10-year period.
