NDTION b� Couu�cilman Goodspeed to approve speci use permit, SP #86-09 with the follaaing stipulations: (1) that the si ng of this new building be matched with the existing hcme; (2) no pav drivaaay is r�uied as long as it is being used only for storage; and (3) at this sgecial use permit be reviewed b� staff in one year to determi that rb vehicles are being driven in and out af this structure. Upon a voice vote, all voting aye, Mayor ee declared the motion carried unanimously. � D. 1• �!���iu il Mr. F'lora, Public Works Di�ctor, stated there was a prop�sal sutrnitted last year fran the Parks and reation Commission to the Planning Commission regarding developnent % f Meadlawlands Park and included options for develogner�t of adjaoe � property. He stated a Task Force studied the issue and supported the fa thEy would like the park retained as a Fassive park, but water canditio in the area needed to be addressed. Mr. Flora stat "the Planning C�►ission made a recommendation because of the hic� oost 'o improve the drainage, consideration be given to assess benefiting a acem properties. He stated if this was done, approximately 23 propert� s would be involved at a oost ranging fram $2,500 to $4,000 per lot depen ng on haa it was assessed. Mr. Fl ra stated the question before the Council is to receive the reco endations of the Parks and Recreation Commission and Planning ssion and determine if thc� should proceed with the impra�enents as far a keeping Meadowlands a passive paik and in�proving the ground water nditions.
