For repairs or alteratioas to an existing structure, the fee shall be at the

The City of Fridley Building Inspection Division was called to
perform a final inspection at 6627 Anaka Street. Upon review of
the construction we noticed that the floor joists on the dwelling
cantiYevered beyond �the four�dation. wall. � Upon review of
construciion documents siz�mitted with your application ta construct
a 12' x 16 � three season addition, �he cantilever conditi:on was not
shown. '
Based upon what was observed at the final inspect�on we �must
require additional footings and.a beam to support this cantilever
design load. Other items observed include the fallowing:
1. Grippable handrail for one side of stair complying with UBC
3306(1).
2. Open side of stair to be enclosed with guardrail/handxail
spacir�g of less than 6 inch openings.
3. Provide mechanical strap connectians between post and beam.

The City of Fridley Building Inspection Division was calYed to
perform a final inspection at 6627 Anoka Street. Upo�n review of
tY�e construction we noticed tY�at the tloor joists on the dwelling
canti�evered beyond the foundation wall. � Upon revi�w of
construction documents submitted with your application to cons�ruct
a 12' x 16' three season addition, �he cantilever conditian was not
shown.
Based upan what was observed at the final inspection we must
require�additional footings and.a beam to support this cantilever
design load. Other items observed include the fo�I.owing:
1. Grippable handrail for one sid� pf stair complying with iTBC
3306(j).
2. Open side of stair to be enclo�ed with guardrail/handrail
spacing of. less than 6 in�h openings.
3. Provide mechanical strap connections. between post and beam.
