Section 47 of the Fridley City Code states:
47.01: Any well functioning septic taak and cess pool system on
the 13th day of June, 1956, may remain so connected as
long as said system continues to function properly.
Where it ceases to function properly, it is to be repaired
immediately or to be connected to the municipal sanitary
sewer system.
47.013: Regardless of repair or correction, failure to meet the
sta�ndards provided (1959 Edition of the Minnesota
Individual Sewage Disposal System Code of Minimum Stan-
dards) theu connection shall be made to a public sewer
where such sewer is within a reasonable distance of the
buildings and the lands to be served.
47.016: Prompt Repair.
Enclosed you will find copies of said sectiosLSof the
Code.
I understand that Mr. Belisle is agreeable to connect
to the sanitary sewer as the sanitary sewer facilities are available
next to his house.
I want to bring to your attention that thia line is
going to be relaid under our Flood Disaster monies within the next
few weeks. It might be advisable for him to connect to the system
at the time we 1ay this line, but if you feel the health problem is
serious and he should i�ediately connect, then we would have to
make appropiiate adjustments when we relay the line.

be issued for any building or use not in conformity
with applicable structural, safety and san�tary regu-
lations, and not in conformity with the following
minimum requirements whose purpose is to avoid the
establishment of unsafe and insanitary buildings and

45.181. Pdone except flush toilets shall be provided in
buildings in all districts with c'�nnection to a sanitary.sewer
required on each lot served by a sewer. Where connection to
a sanitary sewer is found by the Zoning Rdministrator to be
infeas�.ble, he may approve other waste disposal by septic tank
and cesspool or drain field, with drains from flush�toilets
and other drains from the building properly connected with:an
underground septic tank and cesspool or drain field, so con-
structed, covered and operated that no offensive odors shall
be emitted. No cesspool or septic tank shall be located or
used within 50 feet of any well or within 30 feet of any side
or rear 7ot line. Should the 25 foot distance be found by the
Zoning Administrator to be unnecessary, he may approve a
reduction down to 10 feet.
45.182. Any proposed water supply sha17 be City Water on
each lot served by a water line, provided the Zoning• Adminis-
trator may approve other proposed water supply, if determined
satisfactory.

47.O1e The owner of every residence or business building INSIDE TOILET
abutting upon any street or alley in which City sewer mains REQUIRED
are maintained shall have a flush toilet in the building. If

need of repair to eliminate a hazard to safety or health is
deemed maintenance of a nuisance and is prohibited; and such

The water appears to be the sub-surface water with no odor or

It was confirmed by an on site inspection on April l�y 1977 that you were
maintaininq a 1965 Ford and a 1964 Chevelle, on the above listed property�
in a junked street inoperable condition.
Chapter 123 of the Fridley City Code requires that all vehicles in the
City be currently licensed and in a street operable condition. An
altemative is to store said vehicles within a building or at an approved
