Section 2. The Inspector of Buildia�e shall, before iasuiag anq perr�it f�r
�he erection o£ any building or structure, or for any addition to any exise-
in.g building or strucCure, or for any alterations or repaira to any e�iatin$
building or s�ructure, upon applicaCion therefor, requfre the paymen� by the
applicanC for auch permit of fees te the amount hereia below set fosth and
ia the manner hereia provided to-wit:
2.1. Fos any auch permit for �he erection o� anq fire-proof building, othe�
than a garage� warehouse, factory or grai� elevator, or for the erectioa of
any fire-proof addition. for si.milar occugancy, to any existing building
shall ba aC the rate of $1.40 for each.one thousand cubic feeC, or fractia�
Ghereof, in such cubical contents.
2.2. For anq such permit for �he-erection of anq fire-proof garage, warehouse,
faetory or gr�ia elevator, or for the erection of any fire-proof edditioa,
�oa� similar occupancy, to any ex3.sting buildiag shall be at the raCe of $1.25
for each one thousand cubic i�et. cla�aified ae 91ffreproof" by Sectioa 502 of
the Minneapolis Build3ug Gade.

2.3. For any such permit for the erection of any aon-firegroof buildiag other
than a garage, wasehouse, factorq or grain elevator, or any non-fireproo£
additioa, for similar occupaac�, to any existiag building - permit $1.00 fo�
each one thousend cubic feet.

2.4. For auq such permit for the erection of any aon-fireprooi garage,
warahouse, factory or graia elevatar, �r for Che erection of aay non-fire�ravf
add3tios�, for�similar occupancy, to �ny esistiag building or �or each ouch �
t�jidfag or addition - nine�y ceats ($0.90) for each one thousand cubic feet
or fraction thereof, in the cubical coatents thereof with a minimt� of $4.00.-
For the purpose of compu�iag fees for building permita, the cubical coatents

ground area covered from a point six (6) inchee below the floor line of the

SECTION 2. The Inspector of Buildings shall, before issuing permits for the
erection of any building of structure, or for any addition to any existing
building:or structure, or for any alteration or repairs to any existing building
or struct�irE, upon a�plication therefore, require the payment by the applicant
for such permit of fees to the ac�ount herein below set forth and in the manner
herein provided to-wit:
Ur..iform Building Code: Type 1;2, & 4- $1.75 for each one thousand cubic feet, or
fraction ther.eof, in such cubical contents. Type 3& S-$1.50 for eactc
one thousand cubic feet.
For the purpose ot computing fees �for building permits, the cubical contents of
any building or addition to a uniform height throughout by multipluing the ground
area covered from a point six (6) inches below the floor line of the basement er
cellar to the average height of the upper surface or to the average height of the
roof surface of the main gable of a pitched roof. .
For repairs or alterations to an existing structure, the fee shall be at the
rate of $3e00 per each Five Hundred Dollars ($500.00) or fraction thereof
in the cost of all proposed work.
In no case shall the fee charged for any�permit as set forth in Section 2 be
less than $5.00. � .

Dear Mr. Antil:
A plumbing permit was issued on October 24, 2000 to install a water softener at
your address. According to Section 4715.2800 of the State Plumbing Code, a final
inspection shall be conducted on the work authorized by this permit. As of this date,
no final inspection has been called for.
The permit fee that was paid covers the inspection to make sure the work was
completed according to the Code. We will keep your permit open for another 30
days and if we do not hear from you withi.n this time to set up the inspection, we will
mark the pemnit "no inspection called for" and take no further action.
