ADDITIONAL INFORMATION For the purpose of computing fees for b�ailding permits, the cubical contents of any building or addition, is detexmined by multiplying the ground area covered from a point six (6) inches below the floor line of the basement or the cellar to the average heights of the upper surface or to the average� height of the roof surface of the ma.in gable of a pitched roof. For repairs or alterations to an existing structure, the fee shall be at the rate o£ $3.00 per each five hundred dollars ($500.00) or fraction thereof in the cost of all proposed work. In no case shall the fee charged for any permit as set forth in Section 2 be less than $5.00. VERIFICATION OF FOUNDATION NOTE: Permits for construction will be issued a minimum of 24 hours from the time of application, to allow for proper review of the proposed structure and of the construction site. A Certified Survey of the lot, showing the location of the foundation, once it has been constructed, will be required before proceedin� with the framing. The front runner, in my estimation, is the Tom Brickner proposal. Tom is proposing 24 single family lots. Under our platting ordinance, the City Council is allowed to request 10% of any new plat for land or money for park purposes. In this case, the proposal is showing an approximate 1 acre park. In the past, there has been some discussion on obtaining more than that 1 acre parcel for park as allowed under the platting ordinance. If this is the case, it may be adviseable to inform the City Council prior to any proposal for platting, so that they can work with the school board in the promotion of additional pr�ic property.
