SSCMON 2. The Iaspectar of Buildings shall, before issuiag any permit for the
erection of any bullding or atrucEure, or for any addition to any existing build-
ing ar structuse, or for anq alteratioas or repafrs to any esistiag building or
structura� upon application therefore, raquire tHe payment bq the applfcant for
auch permit of feas to tHe �nount herein beiom sat forth and in the manner rierein
prwided to-wit;
2_1. For any such pexmit for the erection of any fire-proof building,
other than a g�rage, warehouse, factary ar grain elevator, or for the erection
of any fire-proof addition� fo1� aimilar occupancy, to any exietin$ building,
sha11 be at thm rate of $i.40 for each one thousand cubic feet, or fraction
