Re: Boulevard restoration on Bacon Drive
Dear Mr. Westby;
As you probably are aware of, there is a depression which
acts as a collection point.for water runoff in your frant yard.
To achieve a satisfactory runoff gradient from your residence
to the street, this depression should be filled in. Since.
this problem is on private property, the City is not authorized
to attempt any correction.
I would like to take this opportuniiy to offer you some
some assistance at this time. There is a small berm between the
depression and the street which the City will be removing to ob-
tain an aesthetic slope to the existing grade of your yard,
lhis would be an ideal time to fill in the depression with the
excess material from this berm. The City will do the berm re-
moval at its expense, but any further landscaping would have
to be done at your expense. If this is agreeable to you, please
inform me of your intent, by October 17, 1974. At that date,
if there is no reply from you, the fill will be removed to some
other location.
