SECTION 2. The Inspector of Buildings sha11, before issuing permits for the
erection of any building or structure, or fox any addition to any existing
building or structure, or for any alteration or repairs to any existing
building or structure, upon applicatiion therefore, requixe the payment by the

Fox the puxpose of computing fees for building percnits, the cubical contents
of any buildi.ng or addition, is determined by multiplying the ground area
covered from a point six (6) inches below the floor line of the basement
ox the cellar to the average heights of the upper surface or io the average*
height of the roof surface of the main gable of a pitched roof.
F�r repairs or alterations to an existing st-ructure, the fee shall be at the
rate of $3.00 per each five liundred dollars ($500.00) or fraction thereof in
the cost of all proposed work.

In no case shall the fee charged for any permit as set forth in Section 2 be
less than $7.50. •
VERIFICATION OF FOUiVDATION
NOTE: Pexmits for construction �•�ill be issued a minimum of 24 hours frem the
time of application, to allow for pxoper revie�a of the proposed structure and
of the constxuction site.
A Certified Survey of the lot, showing the location of the �foundation, once it
ha� been constructed, will be required before proceedin� �oith the framing.
CERTIFICATE OF OCCUPANCY
Application for a Certificate of Occupancy shall be made•ten (10) days prior
to the use or occupancy of any structure for which a building permit has been
issued; and said structure shall not be used or occupied until a Cextificate

a. A surety bond or oeritified check in the amount of S

approval of application and prior to any work commencing. This
bond or check is to ensure satisfactory perf ormance and
oampliance with the belav stated stipulations. The sur ety bond
or check shall be kept active until the completion of work
and/or expiration of permit and can only be released by written
r�tification of the City after a satisfactory final inspection
has been performeci by City foroes.
b. All acoess anr7 street frontage of the land alteration site must
be oontrolled by a fence, a minimim of four l4) feet in height.
All entrances must have gates that are capable of being locked.
c. Only rock, sand, gravel, dirt, or similar natural earth f ill is

d. Operations shall be limited to c3aylight hours and shall n�t
interfere with the health and safety of surrounding residents

e. Any explosives used must be done so in accordance with Chapter
212.3, paragraphs d, e, f, g, of the F'ridley City Code and any
other applicable standard e.g. Federal, State, Industrial, etc.
f. At the end of each season's operations and no later than the
lasz aay of D�ember each year, the site is to be left in a neat
and orderly condition, with maximum slopes of 2s1 with no
werhang or vertical b�anks and with a level bottan.
g. On the Fiiday of eac� work week, or when required by the City,
n�aterial from this operation that is found to exist on City
streets shall be cleaned to the City's satisfaction by the
applicant.
h. Upon oa�letion of land alteration operations, the land must be

application and planted with suitable vegetation to prevent
erosion.
i. Upon oampletion of land alteration operations or expiration of
this permit, an inspection by the City will be made of the
prenises and adjoining streets. Any damage found to have been
caused by these aperations will be corrected by the applicant
