Se�tion 2. The Inspector of Buildinga shall, befoxe isa�i�� any permit frx
r_�F erece3on of any building or structure, or fox any addi�ioa ta any a�xis�-
ix�� bu3.ld.ing or structure, or for any alterationa or repaixs to a�y e�ci5��ag
bu�.lding or stcructure, upon application therefor, require the p�yment by the
applicant for such permit of fees t0 the amount herein be�.ow set forth and
in �he manner herein provided to-wit:
2.1. For any such permit for �he erection �f anq fire-proof building, ather
tha� a garage' warehouse, factory or grain elevator, or for the erection of
a�y fire-proof addition, for aimiiar occupancy, ta �ny existing buildiz�g
ahall be at the rate of $1.40 for each one thousand cubic fe�t, ot� fxac�i�n
the�eof, in such cub3cal contents.
2.2. Far any such germit for the erectiorz o£ any fire-proof garage, warehousaq
�actoay or grain elevator, or for the erection oi any fire-proof ac�ditioa,
�or similar occupaacy, to any existing buildin� shall be at the rate of �1.25
f.or each one thousand cubic feet, classified as B1fireproof" by Sectioa 502 of
the Minneapolis Buildiag Cod.e.

2.3. For any such permit for the erection of any �on-fireproof buildiag other
than a garage, warehouse, factorq or grain elevator, or any non-fireproof
addition, for similar occupancq, to any exis�ing building - permit $1.00 for
each one thouse{nd cubic feet.

w�rehouse, factory or grain elevator, or for the erection of any non-iireg�oof
addir�an, for s3milar occupaacy, to any existiag building or for each such
t�uilding or addition - nine�y cents ($0.90) for each one thausand cubic £ee�
or fraction thereof, in the cubical canteats �hereof w3th a minimum of $�+004.
For the purpose of compu�iag fees for building permiCs, the cubical contents
of aay building o�^ additioa �o a uniform height throughout by multiplying �he
g�ound area covered from a poimt six (6) iaches below the floor line of the
basemen� or cellar to the average height of the upper sur£ace or to the
av�rage height of the roof surface of the main gable of a pitched roaf.
2.5. Far repaixs or altesations to an exis�ing structure, the fee sha11 be
a� icha rate of $3.00 per each Fiv� Heindred Dollars ($500.00) or frsction
thereof ia the cost of a11 propased work,

water will be provided.
3• The filter and pump shall be apprwed by the N. S. F. and be of suff icient
ca.pacity to provide a a�nimum turnover of at least two (2 ) tiunes in 24 hours.

follaving criteria:
(a) The fencing shall prevent the entiance of childrPn and be without hand or
foot holds ti�at wauld enable a person to climb wer it.

with self-cl�ing and self-latching gates capable of beir�g locked.

RE: Monument Sign at East River Road/Pearson Way N.E.
Dear Owner/Occupant:
The monument sign located at the above referenced intersection has
experienced substantial deterioration and is in poor condition.
I have been unable to locate anyone who could be held responsible
for the maintenance of this sign. This monument sign, which is
located within the City right-of-way, has become an eyesore and it
also constitutes a health and safety hazard.
The City is currently considering removing the monument sign from
this location for the reasons cited previously. Please contact me
at 572-3595 on or before November 20, 1990, if you have concerns
regardinq this possible action, so that these may be taken into
consideration.
