Section 2. The Ynspector of Buildings shall, before issuying anybpermit for
tche ezection of any buildin� or structure, or for any addi*ion td any exise—
ing buildiag or sCructure, or for any alterations or sepairs to,any exis�ing
be�ilding or sicructure, upon application therefor,°require the paymen� by the
applicantt for such permit vf fees to the amount herein belaw set iEorth and
in �he manner herein provided to-wit; �"
2.1. For any such permit for the erectioa of any fire-proaf building, other
than a gaxage� warehouse, factory or grain elevat-os, or for the erection of
a�ay fire-psoof addition, for simi.lar occupaacy, to any exiating building
shall be aic the rata of $�,.40 for each o�e thous�.ndy cubic feet, or fraceion
�hereof, in such cubical contenta. ,
2.2. For a�� such permit for �he erec�3on of any fire-groof.g�rage, warehouse,
factory or grafn elevator, or for the erecCioa of any �ire-proof addition,
for simil�r occupancy, to any existing building sh�ll be aC��'iche r�te of $1.25
