SECTION 2. 'The Inspector of Buildings shall, before issuing percnits for the
erection of any building or structure, or for any addition to any existing
buildi.ng ar stxucture, or for any alterati.on or repairs tc� a�y existin�
building or structure, upon application thereioxe, require the paymemt by the
applicant toa such permit of fees to the amount herein belc�w se� for�h and in
the ma.nner herein provided to-wit:

feet9 or frac�.ion thereof, in such Gubical contents. Type 3& 5�$1.85 �or

ADDITIONAL INFOP.MATION
For the purpose o-L- computing fees fox building percnits, the cubical con.itents
of any building ox addition, is determined by multiplyir..g the ground area
coveYed f��m a point six (6) inches below the floar line of �he basement
ox the cellar to the average heights of the upper surface or to the average.{
height of the roof surface of the main gable of a pitched roof.
For xepairs or alteratians to an existix�g stxucture, the fee shall be at the
rate of $3.00 per each five hund�red dollars ($500.00) or fraction thereof in
the cast of a11 proposed work.
In no case shall the fee charged for any permit as set forth in Section 2 be
less than $5.00.
VERIFICATION OF FOUNDATION
2dOTE; Permits for corstruction will be issued a minimum of 24 hours from the
tinie of application, to a11ow for proper review of the proposed structu;:e an.d
of the constxuction site.
A Gertified Survey of the lot, showing the location of the foundation, once it
ha�s been constructed, will be required befo�e pr.oceedina with the fraz�ing.
CERTIFICAT� OF OCCUPANCY
Agplication for a Certii'icate of Occupancy sh.all be made ten (10) days prior
to the use or occu.pancy of any structure for which a building permit has been
issued; and said structure shall not be used or occupied until a Certificate
of Qccupancy has been issued.
