Mr. Clark stated the p�-��.�`� gra�Oe�ty was located one block south of
Briardale Road on Benja� Stsae-t. Just to the east�of the praperty (rear yard)
there was a city gag1� wi.irh a 20 foot wa]kway easement (part of the outlot for
the par�c)i als� owr� by the City, so the dimension fran Mr. West's rear pmperty
line to ttbe si�e line of the house was an additianal 20 feet. � S'��

Dr. Vos stated he was txying to defi� tlie hardshi.p a little m�re. He stated the
rear property line they were talking about was actually a city wa]kwaY, not an
adj aaent Prop��ty (house) .
Mr. Barna stated that all the lots 1-7 in this block w+ere at 120 ft. , whereas
the houses across the street on lots 1�22 were about 124 feet d�eep. �ie ass�p-
ti.on cnuld be mad,e that the wal]aaay a�d the width of the park reduoed the �pths
of lats 1- 7 by about 4 feet. These lots were actually the shallvwest in the
neighb�rha�ode If this lot was a normal lot depth for the neic�Uorhood, no varianoe
would be requirer3, for thi.s size of an addition. �he hardship was that the lat was
short�ened when it was plat�t,ed.
Mr. Barna stat�ed that in the agenda were two letters fran r�ighbors stating no
abjection to the varian� as requested.
