Section 2� The Inspector of Euild3.ngs aha�.1, before isauing a�► permit
for the erection of any buiLdiag or structure, or for e.ny additian to
any exiating bu3lding or structure, or for any alterations or repa3.rs tc
any existing building or atructurey upon applica.tion therefor, require
the payment bg the applicant for such permit of Peea to the amount
herein balow set forth and in the manner here3n provided to-wit:

ather than a garage, warehouse, factory or grain elenator, or'for the'
erect3ora• of : any fireproof addition, for siaai].ex occupanc�, to an�
existing building sha11 be at the rate of �1,40 for�each one thousand
cubic�feet, or �ra ction thereof, in such cubical. contenta. ,

Dear Mr. Dostaler:
The City of Fridley has established a City Code for the putpose of promoting a pleasant and attractive
suburban environment. A recent inspection of the property at 500 Bennett Drive N.E. revealed that
not all Code requirements are presently being met. Listed below is an item which does not comply
with the City Code:
Fridley Cfty Code requires that all vehicles must be ciureirtly licensedlstreet operable and kept
on a hazd surface parking azea if they are stored outside. I observed a blue truck pazked on
the grass parallel to 7th Street.
Your prompt attention in correcting this situation would greatly assist us in helping make Fridley a
better place to iive. An inspection will be conducted on or shortly after January 17, 1996, to
determine compliance.

RE: Final Notice of Noncompliance of the Fridley City Code at 500 Bennett Drive
Dear Mr. Dostaler:
A second inspection of the properly at 500 Bennett Drive confirmed that the following
item still does not comply with City Code:
• Fridley City Code requires that all vehicles must be cuRently licensed, street
operable, and kept on a hard surface parking area if they are stored outside. I
observed a pick-up truck that continues to be improperly parked at this location.
Please discontinue the practice of parking off the approved hard surface, i.e.,
driveway.
A final inspection to determine compliance will be conducted on or about March 31,
1997. You should arrange to complete an approved plan for compliance before that
date. Should this inspection confirm that this deficiency still exists, legal action will be
approved. If corrective action cannot be completed by this time, contact me to
coordinate a schedule to complete this requirement.
