Re: Possible Home Occupation and Parking of a
Competition Race Car in a Residential Area
Dear Mr. Johnson:
On August 27, 1973, a preliminary inspection was made of
your property to determine your compliance with City Code Section
39 and the zoning code Chapter 45 as it pertains to home occupa-
tions.
I have included both sections of our code your your review
in order that you may better understa.nd the contents of this
letter.
It was noted that on the day of inspection that you did
have a competition race car parked in your driveway and that
it was determined that this car is usually parked in this manner
most of the time when it is not competing. I did speak briefly
with your wife and stated to her that I wasn't sure that the
parking of the car was a code violation. However, after reading
Chapter 39.01, it is my interpretation that it does constitute a
code violation and it must be removed or be stored in the garage.
Also I informed your wife that you may or may not be con-
ducting an occupation from your home that may be interpreted to
be a violation of the zoning code. The included home occupation
definition will help enable you to better understand the code
requirements on home occupations.
Would you also please take more care in the manner in which
garbage is stored. It should be kept in covered cans and not in
plastic bags. I realize there are times that the temporary use
of plastic bags cannot be avoided and your cooperation will be
appreciated in this matter also.
We will make another inspection of your premises the week
of September lOth to determine your progress on these matters.

reference to these matters.

Dear Mr. Piatkowski:
A plumbing permit was issued on August 9, 1999 to install a water heater at your address.
According to section 4715.2800 of the State Plumbing Code, a final inspection shall be conducted
on the plumbing authorized by this permit. As of this date, no inspection has been called for.
The permit fee paid covers the inspector's time to make sure the appliance was installed
conectly. We also check to make sure combustion air has been installed and that the vent and
vent connectors have been sized properly.
You will be given thirty (30) days from receipt of this notice to respond. If we do not hear from
you, we will expire the permit and any further inspection on this installation will require a new
pernut.
