SECTION 2. The Inspector of Buildings �t�a11, before issuing permits for the
erection of any building or structure, ox for any addition to any existing
building or stxucture, or for any alteration or repairs to any existing
building or stx'ucture, upon applicatic�n thc�refare� require the payment by the
applicant for such permit of fees to r_1ic. ��ino.�nt herein below set forth and in
the manner herein provided to-wit:
UNIFORM BUILDING CODE: Type l, 2& 4�$�.15 :�ar �ach one thousand cubic
feet, or fraction thereof, in such cubical c�ntents. Type 3& 5-$1.85 for
each one thousand cubie feet.
ADllITIONAL I�FORT�I�T�ON
For the purpose of camputing fees for building permits, the cubical contents
of any building or addition, is determined by mu2tiplying the ground area
covered from a point six (6) inches below the floor line of the basement
or tl�e cellar to the average heights of the uppex• surf�ce or to the average
heigl�t o� the roof surface of the main gable of a pitched roof.
For repairs ox alterations to an existing structure, the fee shall be at the
rate o� $3,00 per each five hundred dollars ($500.00) or fraction thereof in
the cost of a11 proposed work.
In no case shall the fee charged for any permit as set f�rth in Section 2 be
l�ss than $5.00.
VERIFICATION OF FOUNDATION
NOTE; Permits for eonstxuction will be issued a minimum of 24 hours frac�► the
time o� applicatio�, t� allaw for proper xeview of the proposed st�zcture a�d
of the construction sate.
A Certified Survey of the lot, showin� the location of the foundation, once it
has taeen construeted, will be required ber�re proceeding with the €raming.
