BUILDING PERMIT FEE SCHEDULE
SECTION 2. The Inspector of Buildings shall, before issuing pextnits for the
erection of any building or structure, or for any addition to any existing
building or structure, or for any alteration or repairs to any existing
building or structure, upon application therefore, require the payment by the
appl�cant for such permit of fees to the amount herein below set forth and in
the manner herein provided to-wit:
UIdIFORM BUILDING CODE: Type 1, 2& 4-$2.15 for each one thousand cubic
feet, or fraction thereof, in such cubical contents. Type 3& 5-$1.85 fox
each one thousand cubic feet.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
For the puxpose of computing feea for building permits, the cubical contenta
of any building or addition, is detennined by multiplying the ground area
covered from a point six (6) inches below the floor line of the basement
or the cellar to the average heighta of the upper surface or to the average�
he�ght of the roof surface of the me.in gable of a pitched roof.
For xepairs or alterations to an existing structure, the fee shall be at the
rate of �3.00 per each five hundred dollars ($500.00) or fraction thereof in
the cost of all proposed work.
In no case shal� the fee charged for any perniit as set forth in Section 2 be
lesa th�n $5.00.
V�RIFICATION OF FOUNDATION
NOTE: Pena�.te for eonstruation will be iesued a minimum of 24 houxa fram the
ti.�e of application, to allow.for proper review of the proposed structure ax�d
of the construction site.
A Cextifisd Survey of the lot, shawiug the location of the foundation, ox�ce it
has been canstructed, will be required before proceedinA With the framing.
CERTIFTCATE OF OCCUPANCY
Application for a Certificate of Occupancy sha11 be made tea (10) daye prior
to the use or occupancy of aay atructure for which a building permit has been
issued; and said etructure shall not be used or occupied until a Certiiicate
of Occupancy has been issued.
