To determine which size XE heater to specify, first calculate the square footage of your pool surface. Next, determine
the temperature rise you want — the difference between the average air temperature and the desired water temper-
ature during the coldest month you will be heating your pool. Then referto the accompanying Heating Table. This table is
based on intermittent heating as a means of conserving energy and is designed to bring the pool up to swimming
temperature within 24 to 36 hours under typical conditions. It lists the maximum square footage of pool surface area for
each heater model to accomplish a given temperature rise.
