BUILDING PERMIT FEE SCHEDULE
SECTION 2. The Inspector of Buildings shall, before issuing permits for the
exection o� any building or structure, or for any addition to any existing
building or stru.ctuxe, or for any alteration or repairs to any existing
building or structure,-upon application therefore, require the payment by the
applicant for such permit of fees to the amount herein below set forth and in
the manner herein provided to-wit:
UI�tFORM BUILDING CODE: Type 1, 2& 4-$2.15 for each one thousand cubic
feet, ox fraction thereof, in such cubical contentse Type 3& 5-$1.85 for
each one thousand cubic feet.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
Eor the purpose of computing fees for building permits, the cubical contents
of a�y building or addition, is determined by multiplying the gxound area
covered from a point six (6) inches below the floor line of the basement
o� the cellar to the average heiglits of the upper surface or �o the average�
�height of the roof surface of the main gable of a pitched roof.
Fox repaixs or alterations to an ex isting stxucture, the fee shall be afi the
rate of $3.00 per each f�ve hundred dollars ($500.00) or fraction thereof in
the cost of all prop•osed woxk.
Tn no case shall the fee chaYged for any permit as set forth in Section 2 be
less than $5.00.
VERIFICATION OF FOUNDATION
NOTE: Permits far constr�.ction wi11 be issued a minimum of 24 hours fxom the
time of application, to allow for proper xeview of the pxoposed structure and
of the construction site.

A Certified Survey of the lo�, showing the.location of the foundation, once it
ha� been constructed, will be xequired before proceeding with the framing.
CERTIFICATE OF OCCUPANCY
Application fox a Certificate of Occupancy shall be made ten (10) days prior
to �he use or occupancy of any structure for which a building permit has been
issued; and said structure sha11 not be used ox occup3.ed until a Certificate
of Occupancy has been issued.
