Dear Ms. Torkelson:
This letter is to inform you that we have received numerous ca11s expressing concerns regarding
the amount of signage being utilized at your property at 6800 Brookview Drive. These calls have
been from a variety of residents who feel that the amount of signage you are using to advertise
your home occupation is excessive, and is changing the residential character of the neighborhood.
While my authority may be limited, I would respectfully request that you reduce the amount of
signage, and limit the amount of lighting for the tax service sign which is located on the east wall
of your home. I have informed callers that you are permitted to have a home occupation, and that
the signage is not regulated by code. However, in the interest of reducing residents' concerns, I
believe a reduction in the amount of signage would be in order.
