Dear Mr. Magle:
As you know, there was a fire at 1541 Camelot Lane N. E. on Sunday
morning, 3anuary 25, 1987. Our office made an inspection of the �amages
on January 26, 1987. Zhe cause of the f ire is being investigated by the
Fridley Fire Department.
Zf�e house was severely damaged and in its present condition does
constitute a public nuisance and must be abated by renwal because the
structure is damaged beyond repair.
Zhe garage did not suffer as muc}� structural damage, however sinoe it is
attached to the house, it would be very dif f icul t to remove the house
without damaging the garage (the common wall between the house and
garage is damaged beyona re�ai r) .
The house was constructed in 1976 and at that time there was some
extensive soil correction work done and the footing system was
constructed with reinforcement bars included. For this reason an
attempt should be mac3e to save the foundation systesn. Also the size and
location of the structure should not be dzanged.
We hope that the renoval can be acc�mplished as soon as all arranc�anents
can be made.
