SeGtion 2. �"he Inapector of Buildinge ehall, befose issuing �ny permit for
��ie erect3.on o£ any buildiag or structure, or fcr any additioti to anq exise-
�ag building or structure, or for any alCerations or repairs to any e�is�iag
building or atructure, upon agplication therefor, require the paymeat by the
applicant for�such permit of fees to the amount herein below �et £orth r�nd
in the maaner hereia provided to-wit;
2.1. For any such permit for the erection o.f any fire-proof building, other
than a g�.rage� wa�ehouae, factory os grain elevator, or for the erecti.on of
any fire-proof addition, for aimilar occupancy, to any existing building
shall be at the rate oi $1.40 for each one thousaad cubic feet, or fract�on
thereof, ia such cubical contents.
2.2. For any such permi.t for the esect3on of anq fire-proof g�rage, warehouse,
f�ctory or grain elevator, or for the erection oi any fire-proof add3tioa,
�or similar eccugancy, to aaq existing building shali be at the r�te of $1.25
for each one thousand cubic feet, class�.fied as 01fireproof" by Section 502 of
the Miuneapolia Building Code.
