Section 2. The Ynspector of Buildin�a ehall, before issuing any perm�C for
�he erection of any building or structure, or for any addircion to any exist-
ing building or structure, or for e�ny alter�.tions or repairs to any �sis�itng
- building.or stcructure, upon application therefor, require the payment by �he
applicant for such permit of fees to the amount herein below set forth �nd
in the ma.nner herein provided to-wit: ����
2.1. Eor any such permit for �he erection of any fire-proof building, oCher
than a garages warehouae, factory or grain elevator, or for the erecti.on of
ardy fire-proof addition, for similar occupaacy, to any existing building
shall be at the rate of $�,.40 for each one thousand cubic feet, or fraction
thereof, in such cubical contents.
2.2. For any such permit for rche erecCion of any fire-proof garage, warehouse,
factory or graia elevator, or for the erect3on of any fire-proof addie3oa,
for similar occupancy, to any existing building shall be at the rate of $1.25
for each oae Choiieand cubic feet, clasaified as °1fireproof" by Section 502 of
the P�i.nneapolia Building Code, .
NOUSES
2,3. Fos anq such permit for the erection of any non-fireproof building other
than a garage, warehouse, factory or grain elevator, or anq non-fireproof
additioa, for similar occupancy, to any euisting buildiag - permit $1.00 for
each one thousaad cubic feet.
GARAGES
2.4. For any such permit for the erection of any non-fireproof garage,
warehouse, factdry or grain eleva�or, or for the erec�ion of any non-fireptoof
�ddition, for similar occupancq, to eny existing building or for each such
building or addiCion - ninety cents ($0.90) for each one thousand cubic feet
or fraction thereof, in �he cubical contents thereof with a min3muan of �4.00.
For the purpose of computing fees for building permits, the cubical contents
of aay building or addition �o a uniform height Ehroughout by mul�iplying the
ground area covered fram a poin� six (6) iaches below the floor line of the
basement or cellar to the average heigh� of the upper surface or to the
average height of the roo�' surface of the maia gable of a pitched root.
2.5. For regairs or alterations to an exist�ing structure, the fee sha11 be
at the rate of $3.00 per each Five Hundred Dollara ($500.00) or fraetion
ttaereof in the cost of a�l proposed work.
2.6. In no case ehail the fee charged for aay permit as set forth in
Section 2 be leas than $4.00.

SECTION 2. The Inapector of Buildings shall, before iaeuing any permit for
the erection of any building or struct'ure-, or for any..add�.tion to any esistiag
building or structure, or for any alterations or repairs to any egisting
buildiug or seructure, upon agplicatibn therefore, require the payment by the
applicant for such permit of fees to tha emount herain below set forth and 3n
the manner her`ein provided�to-wit= , �
2.1. �For any such permit for the erection of any fire-proof building,
othei than a gara�e, warehouse, faeto�y or��grain elevator, or for the erection
of any fire-proof additio�, for aimilar occupancy, to any esiating building,
sliall be at the rate of $1.40 for each one thoueand cubic feet, or�fraction
thereof, in such cubical contents.
2.2 For any auch permit for the erection of any fire-proof garage,
warehouse, factory or grain elevator, or for the erection of any fire�proof
addition, for similar occupancy, tA any ezisting building sha11 be at the
rate of $1.25-for esch one thousand cubic feet, classified as "fireproof"
by Section 502 oi the Minneapolie Building Code..

2.6. In no.casa shall the fee-charged for any permit as aet forth in
