,-, . Section 2. The Inagector of Buildings shall, before issuia� any ge�mi.0 for
. the erection of any buildiag or atructure� or for any addition to any e:3at-
ing building or structure, or for any alterations or repaira to any esis�ing
� bu31d3ng or structure, upoa application therefor, require the payment by the
applicant for such permit of fees to the amount herein below set fortti a�d
in the manaer hereia provided to-wit:
2.1. For anq such permit for the erection o,f any fire-proof bailding, other
than a garage, warehouse, factory or grain elevator, or for the erection of
any fire-proof addition� for similar occupaacy, to any �ietiag building
shall be at the rate of $1.40 for each ona thousand cubic feet, or fracCioa
thereof, in such cubical contents.
2.2. For anq auch permit far the erection of.any fire-proof garage, warehouse,_
factorq or grein elevator, or for the erectiaa of aay fire-praof additioa,
for eimilar occupancy, to any existing buildiag shall. be at the rate of $1.25
for each one thousand cubic feeC, classified as "fireproof" bq Sectioa SG2 of
the Minneapolis Buildiag Code.

Dear Mr. Sung:
Mechanical permits were issued on Augus# 23, 1999 for the installation of a gas
furnace, air conditioner and water heater at your address. According to Section 305(a)
of the 1991 Uniform Mechanical Code, a final inspection shall be performed on the
mechanical permits. As of this date no inspections have been called for.
The permit fees that were paid covers the inspector's time to check to make sure the
appliances were installed correctly. We also need to check for the installation of
combustion air, vent and connector sizing.
You will be given thirty (30) days from receipt of this notice to respond. If we do not
hear from you, your permit will expire and any inspections on this installation will require
a new permit.
