PERFORMAI�JCE BOND POLICIES
When a building permit is issued for a commercial, industriai or a multiple dwelling residential project which require.
outside improvements,a Performance Bond or a Letter of Credit shall be submitte� ��e City. The bond will cove`
all outside improvements, including but not limited to landscaping� �gation, curbin blackto
lighting, and storm drainage systems. b� pping, screening fences
Cal�ulation of bond amounts will be determined by the btailding permit values. The bond amount will be 3% of the
buiiding penmit value up, to a 2 million dollar project or a$60,Opp bond. Actual amounts will be rounded to the nearest
$100. The City reserves the right to requir� gr�ater or lesser bond amounts based on unusual circumstances. Projec�
with no outside improvements, generally will not r�qu� a bond.

Bonds must remain opea until the project is fully compiet�. A� bo� �� held over one winter and through the
next growing season to insure the survival of all landscape installations. The C' will then '
