SEC°P_ION 2. The Inspector of $uildings shall, before issuiag any pet�mi:t for the
erection of any building or structure, or for any addition to anq existing build-
ing or seruceure, or for any alterations or repairs to any egisting building or
atructure, upon applicaCion therefore, recYuire the payment bq tb�e,applireant for

2.1. For any such permit for tlie e�redtion of any fire-proof buildiag,
other than a garag�, �aarehousle, factor� or grain elevator, or for the erection
of any fire-prodf additidn, for aimilar occupaacy, to any existing building,
shall be at the rate o£ $1.40 for each one thousand cubic feet, or fraction
