2.1. For aay such permit for �he erectioa o.f anq fire-proof building, other
than a garage� warehouse, factory or graia elevator, or £or the erectioa of
any fire-proof additioa� for aimilar occupaacy, to any �xiating building
sha11 be 8t the rate of $1.40 for each one thousand cubic feet. or fractioa
thereof, in such cubical coatents.
2.2'. For anq such permit for the ereeCion of anq #ire-proof g�rage, warehause,_.
f�ctory or grain elevator, or for the erection of any fire-proof eddition,
for simiiar occupancq, to any existing buildin,g shall be aC the rate of $1.25
for each one thousand cubic feet, claseified as "fireproof" bq Section 502 of

The Chief Building Official shall, before issuing permits for the erection of any building or structure, or for
any addition to any existing building or structure, or for any alteration or repair to any existing baa�iding or
structure, upon application therefore, require the payment by the applicant for such permit of fees to the amount
