Section 2. The Inspector of �nildinge shall, befora iesta9.ng anq permit i�a�
�he erection of any buildiag or structure, or for any addi�ion to any exiat-
ing building or structure, or for any alterations or repa3rs to any e�ia�ing
building or s�ructure, upon application therefor, require the payment by �he
appl3cant for auch permit of feea ts the amount herein below aet forth �nd
in the manner herein provided Co-wit:
2.1. For any such permit for the erection o,� any fire-proof building, othes
than a garage� warehwse, f�ctory os grain elevator� or for the erection of
any fire-proof addit�3on, for similar occupancq, to any e$iating bu3lding
ahall be at the rate of $I,.40 for each one thousand cubic feet, or fractio�
��ereof, in such cubical contents.
2.2. For any such permit for the erectio� of anq fire-groof g�rage, warehouse,
faetory or graia elevator, or for the erection of any fire-praof addition,
�or similar occupancq, to any existing buildiag shall be at the rate o� $1.25
€or emch one thousand cub3c feet, cYassif�ed as °1fireproof" by Sectioa 502 of
the Minneapolie Building-Code.

grouad area covered from a poinC six (6) inches below the floor line of the .

SEC'iIOA 2. The Inapector of Buildinge shall, before issuing any permit for
the erect3.on of any building or atructure, or for any`��ddit3on to any esisting
building or structure, or for aay alterations or repaira to any existin�
building or sCructur@, upon application therefore, require the payment bg the.
applicant for-aucti permit of feea td the.amoua� hereia helow..set forth and in
the manner herein provided to-wit; �
2.1. For anq such permit for the erection of any fire-proof building,
othei tha a gara�r�, �tarehouse, factory or grain'elevaeor, or for the erection
of any fire-proof addition, for similar occupancy, to auy esieting building,
sha11 be at the rate nf $1.40 for each one thousand cubic feet, or fraction
thereof, in auch cubiaal contenta.
2.2 . For any auch permit for the erection of aay fire•proof garage,
warehouse, factory or graia elevator, �r far the erectioa of anq fire»proof
addition, for similax occupancy, to any exieting building shall be at the
rata of $1�.25 for each one thousand cubic feeC, �lassified as "fireproof"
by Sect3oa 502 of the Minneapolis Buildiag Code. ,
