SECTIOP 2. The Inspec�or of Buildings shall, before isauing any permit for
the erection of anq building or structure; or for any addit3on to any esisting
building or structure, or for any alterations or repairs to� any existing
building or structure, upon application therefore, require the payment by the
applicant for aucY► permit of feea to the �ount.harein belot�re�t forth and in
the manner herein provided to•wit:
2.1. For any euc�i permit for the erection of any fire•proof building,
othei than a gar�ge, warehouse, factory or grain elevator, or for the erection
of any fire-proof addition, for sf�milar pccupancy, to any existing building,
shall be at the rate of $1.40 for each one thousand cubic feet, or fraction
thereof, in such cubica�, contents. �
2.2 For any such permit for the erection of any fire-proof ,gara�e,
warehouse, factory or grain elevator, or for the erection of any fire»proof
addition, for similar occupancy, to any_egisting building shall be at the
rate of $1.25 �or each one thousand cubic feet, classified as "fireproof"
bq Sectioa 502.of the Minneapo],is Buildiag Code.
HOIISES
2.3. For any auch permit for.the erectioa of anq non-fireproof
building, other than a garage, warehouse, factory or grain elevator, or
anq noa»fireproof addition, for s�tmilar occupancy, to any existing building -
permit $1.00 for each one thousand cubic feet.
GARAGLS
2.4. For any such permit for the erection of any non-fireproof garage,
warehouse, factory or grain ele�tator, or for the erection of any non-fire-proof
additioB, for similar oecupancy, to any� esisting building or. for each auch
building or addition - ninety cents (�0.90) for each one thous.and cubic feet
or fraction thereof, in the cubical contents thereof with the miaimum of $4.00.
For the purpose of computin� feea for buildiug permits, the cubical contents
of any building or addition to a uniform height throughout by multiplying the,
ground area covered fram a point six (6) inches below the fl�oor line of the
basement or cellar to the average h�a�ght of tha upper aurface or to the average
height of the roof aurface of tt�e main gable.of a pitched roo.f.
2.5. For repairs or alt.erations to an.existing sCructure, the fee shall
be at the rate of $3.00�per each Five�Hundred Dollare ($500.00) or frac�icn �
thereof in the cost of all proposed work.
2.6. In no case sha11 the fee charged for any permit as aet forth in
Section 2 be less than $4.00. ' �
