Section 2. The Inspeetor of Bu3ldings she11, before issuing any perm3:t
for the erect3.on of a,ny build.ing or structure, or for any addition to
any ex3sting buildin� or structure, or for any alterations or repairs

RE: Staff Report On Blind Intersection At Z19f
Craigway (Corner of East River Road and Craigway N.E.)
The property owner has installed a screening fence adjacent
to East River Road. The f�nce is 5 1/2 feet high with the
nearest point to Craigway being 37 feet.
The screening fence does meet the 25 foot open unobstructed
requirement of 45.154 (3), howevex still poses a problem because
of the narrow boulevard and curve on East River Road.
I have not approached the home owner about the possibility
of improving the visibility problem and if further improvement
is desired�I would like authorization to expend City funds
to better the situation as, technically speaking, he does meet
the code requirements.
