applican� for such permit of fees to the amount herein below set £orth �nd
in the manner here3n provided to-wit;

than a garage� warehouse, factory or graia elevator, or tar the erection of
any fire-prc+of addition, for aian3lar occupancy, to any esisting building
shall be at the rare of $1.40 for each one thousand cubic feet, or fraction
�hereof, in such cubical conCenta.
2.2. For any such permit for �he erect3on of any fire-proof g�rage, warehouse,
f�ac�ory or grain elevator, or for the erection of aaq fire-proof edditioa,

Deck Construction Additional Notes
Lumber-
All lumber will be purchased from Menards and will be the AC2 treated yellow pine.
Hot Tub-
The hot tub will not be sitting on the deck but will be sunk in and will be resting on the ground
level on a constructed base that will allow for rain drainage and prevent settling. I plan on digging an
7.5'x7.5'x8" square pit, outlining it along the edges with a 2x8 square frame, filling with crushed
limestone, leveling and compacting. On top of that I will make a constructed pedestal of 7'x7'x6" from
2x6 treated lumber and top that with 3/4" treated plywood and cover that pedestal with rubber roofing
material. The hot tub will rest on that pedestal. The height if the hot tub above the level of the decking
will not be more than 6". All electrical work for the hot tub will be done by a licensed electrician.
Power Lines-
There are no power lines above any portion of the deck or hot tub at any point. The nearest
distance is 8' from the east edge of the deck.
Footin�s-
As this is a replacement of the deck materials and an extension to accommodate the hot tub, I
will be re-using the 5 existing footings from the previous deck. (The 5 that are approximately 10' from
the house) I will be digging and pouring the 4 additional footings as shown to 12' wide by 4' deep
