Re: Construction Without Obtaining a Building Permit
Dear Mr. Brytowski:
During November, 1994, we stopped at your residence when we noticed
that you were installing new windows. You were informed at that
time that you were in violation of the City Code and were asked to
come into City Hall to obtain a building permit. As of todays
date, you have not applied for this permit.
We will expect you to correct this violation on or before December
23, 1994 and a special investigation fee will be added.equal to the
permit fee. If the permit is not obtained by December 23, 1994,
this matter may be turned over to the City Prosecutor for his legal
consideration.

Bathroam Details:
Repair any rotten framing, sub-floor, and neutralize any mold. Remove and replace window with 26"x36"
white vinyl double hung window, low E, and insulate exterior wall. Install new 32" x 18" x 60" vinyl tub
(biscuit), new Delta shower and sink faucets (oil rubbed bronze), replace and update plumbing pipes as
needed. Install new toilet (elongated/biscuit color�. Update etectrical outlets to code, install vanity light ($100
allowance), ceiling light ($25 allowance}, switches, and breaker. Install sheetrock on walls, mud, tape, sand,
and prime. Insta!! 51"x35"x2Y' birch vanity with sink on teft side. Instafl smaft birch face frame cabinet to go
above right of vanit}r and built into linen closet. Install aff white cultured marbEe top with built-in sink to the left
side. Install white pvc beadboard up to 4' tall with bottom and top trim (pvc}. Case window outside with 1x6
maintenance free material, case inside of window and door wi#h s#andard pine ranch casing. Instalt oi!
rubbed bronze towel bar, paper holder, shower rod, and robe hook. Install 48�x36" beveled mirror above
vanity. Install ceramic tile an floor and tub surround with one 3" border piece, comer shelf, and ceramic towel
bar at back of tub ($2 per sq. ft. tile allowance). Paint walls and ceiling with low v.o.c. paint (satin), paint
heating vent white, stain and vamish cabinet and trim mofdings. Sand and paint inside of existing door.
Laundry Raom Details:
Repair rotten framing and neutralize any mold_ Remove window and frame in. Widen door opening 2".
Frame up 2x6 wall on exterior wali, and 2x4 wafl across mechanical side. Insulate ext. wall. Vacate existing
sink and shower plumbing, install new plumbing feeds to utility sink and washer {includes wall drain for
washirtg machine). Bring all plumbing up ta code and extend gas line to dryer at new location. New 21°x24"
white drop in utility sink with chrome faucet instalfed in base cabinet immediatefy left of washer. Install new
toilet (etongated/white). Hook-up stackabte washer and dryer (provided by cusfomer}. tnstatt 4 recessed
lights in ceiling (one of these is a combination e�chaust fan/light vented io back of house). Install 15 min.
timer onloff switch #or fan and standard white switch for lights. Install 2 GFt outlets, one in cabinet area and
other for washer/dryer, and two standard outiets. Install new cir. breakers and wiring as required. Sheetrock
walls, mud, tape, sand, and prime. Install new solid core, flush, birch swing door (LH, 30�}, and door knob.
Instalf pine ranch base baard, door casing, vamished bead board plywood on ceiting with'/" cove. Install
white melamine cabinets {see cab. ptan for tayout) and formica counter top. Instali chrome toifet paper
holder and 24" towel bar holder. Tile floors ($2 per sq. ft. tile allowance). Stain and vamish door, casing,
and base moidings. Paint outside ofi fil}ed in wrindow white with sand textiare, attempting to match existing
e�ct. wall. Paint walls wl eggshell sheen.
Notes: Customer responsible for d�moliiion of bathroom and laundry except for windows and bathroam ceiling. 20 yard
