Paqe 2 *UBC 1202 (b) Special Provisions- Walls and floors separating dwelling units in the same building shall be not less than one-hour fire resistive coristruction. *R-1 Division 1 Occupancies having more than 3000 square feet of floor area shall be of not less than one-hour fire resistive construction. �UBC 1204 Exits and Emergency Escapes- Basements in dwelling units or lower level and sleeping rooms shall have at least one openable window or door approved for emerqency escape or rescue which shall open directly into.a public�street, alley, yard or ex3t��court.
