SECTION 2. The Inspector of Buildings shall, before issuing permits f�r the
erection of any building or structure, or for any addition to a,ny existing
building or structure, or for any alter��ion or repairs to any exi�t�n�
building or structure, upon application therefore� geq�ig� ��� �����g �� �he
applicant for such permit of fees �o the amo��� ��gei� b���� ��� ����� ��� a�
the manner herein provided to-wit:

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
For the purpose of computing fees for building permits, the cubical contents
of any building or addition, is determined by m�ltiplying the ground are�
covered from a point six (6) inches below the floor lin� of the basement
o� the cellar to the �v�r��� hei�hts of th� upper suxface or to the average
h�i�ht o£ �he goof suxface of the �in gable of ��itched rouf.
For repairs or alterat��ns to an e�i�ging stxucture, the fee shall be at the
rate of $3.00 per each five hundred dollars ($500.00) or fraction thereof in
the cost of all proposed work.
In no case shall the fee charged for any permit as set forth in Section 2 be
lesa than $5.00.

VERIFICATION OF FOUNDAI'ION
NOTE: Permits for construction will be issued a minimum of 24 hours £rom the
time of application, to allow for proper review of the proposed structure and
of the construction site.
A Certifiad Survey of the lot, showing the location of the foundation, once it
has been constructed, wi11 be required before proceeding with the framing.
CERTIFICATE OF OCCUPANCY
Application for a Certificate of Occupancy shall be made ten (10) days prior
to the use or occupancy of any structure for which a building permit has been
issued; and said stnacture shall not be used or accupied until a Certificate
of Occupancy has been issued.

A mechanical permit was issued on October 16, 2000 to install a furnace at your address.
According to the 1991 Uniform Mechazucal Code a final inspection shall be conducted on the work
authorized by these permits. The final inspection conducted on December 26, 2000 noted the
following correction:
Reinstall the three screws where the vent connector meets the furnace.
The permit fee that was paid covers the inspection to make sure the work was completed according
to the Codes. We need to inspect the noted corrections before we can final out the permits. To set
