ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
Fo� the purpose of computing fees for building permits, the cubical contenLrs
of any building or addition, ia determined by multiplying the ground area
covered from a point six (6) inches below the floor lin� of the basement
o� the cellar to the averagg heights of the upper surface or to the average
height of the roof surface of the main gable of � pitched roof.
For repairs or alteratiuns to an exicting staucture, the fee shall be at the
rate of $3.00 per each five hundred dollars ($500.00) or fraction thereof in
the cost of all proposed work.
In no case shall the fee charged for any permit as set forth in Section 2 be
less than $5.00.
VERIFICATION OF FOUNDATION
NOTE: Permits for construction will be issued a minimum of 24 hours from the
time of application, to allow for proper review of the proposed structure and
of the construction site.
A Certified Survey of the lot, showing the location of the foundation, once it
has been constructed, will be required before proceeding with the framing.
CERTIFICATE OF OCCUPANCY
Application for a Certificate of Occupancy shall be made ten (10) da.ys prior
to the use or occupancy of any structure for which a building permit has been
issued; and said structure shall not be used or eccupied until a Certificate
of Occupancy has been isaued.

We received a cop�� of Mary Clark's letter dated May 16, 1976 to the
Building Code Division o� the S�ate.
In response to it we made an appointment with the owner to view her
problem; also you will .r�caJl that I called you on May 25, 1976 with
reference to her probleme
On May 26, 1976 we made our inspection and evidence of some previous
seepage of water was evident along the fron�t wall of the townhouse
unit. We were also t�ld that her heighbor at 5565 East Oberlin Circle
has also experienced the same problem.
The basement floor is about 4 feet below grade, the soil type is probably
clay and the only time the seepage occurs is during a rain or thaw. This
Yndicates that water mus-c be running in toward the foundation rather than
acvay from the foundation.
During our May 25 conversai.ion you rei�orted that your intenti�ns were to
call in an expert in this field and take corrective measures within two
weeks. Therefore I have told Mary C1ark to please be a little more
patient and allow you until June 15, 1976 to correct the pioblem with
instructions to please call me if no action has taken place by .that date.
In addition �.o correcting the seepage problem, you will have to also
retack her dining room carpet.
Would you p.lease keep me iiiforn►ed of your intentions and prior to when
your contractor commences the corrective work, he must first acquire a
building pennit and obtain the normal inspections on his work.

A mechanical permit was issued on June 8, 1998 for the property located at 5561 E.
Oberlin Circle for a new furnace and air conditioner. According to Section 305(a) of the
1991 Uniform Mechanical Code a final inspection shall be perFormed on the mechanical
permit. As of this date no inspection has been called for.
You will be given thirty (30) days from receipt of this notice to respond. If we do not
hear from you, we will expire the permit and any inspections on this installation will
require a new permit.
