It was confirmed by a routine on-site inspection on June 29, 1979 that
the above listed rental property was being maintained in violation of
Chapter 220, Residential Maintenance Code, of the Fridley City Code.
Although the general condition of the property was good, the inspection
on the above date found the following list of deficiencies which must be
oorrected. Any repairs or improvements must be completed in a worlananship
like manner. It is the City's hope that similar or other deficiencies in
apartments that were not inspected will be corrected as needed.

Dear Mr. Narog:
In order to maintain the quality of the residential rental housing Within the
City of Fridley and to prevent its deterioration� the City Council has
adopted a housing maintenance code. As part of the City's comprehensive
housing program, an on-site inspection Was conducted of the above listed
property on October 23, 1984.
The inspection on that date found the following list of deficiencies which
are in need of corrective action. Any repairs or improvements must be
j completed in a worl�anship like manner. It is the City's hope that similar
or other deficiencies that xere not noted will be corrected as needed.
EXTERIOR•
1. Repair and maintain the screened enclosure for the refuse container. �/�.�1 �%�.
2. Replace and maintain the missing glass for the xiadoW: 3rd floor, �est
aall, second from north.
3. Enclosed you xill find the City and State manditory energy standards for
retrofitting residential rental property. All doors, �indo�as� utility
openings, attics and other areas must be brought into compliance With
these atandards. This is even more critical Prom the tenant's viexpoint
since they pay the utility bills (aee enclosed).

4. Provide and maintain effective Weatherstripping, to control heat loss and

enclosed requirements).
10. Repair and maintain the non-�►orking openable WindoWS for the kitchen.
Al1 windows must Work in the prescribed manner, and When olosed provide a
weathertight seal that eliminates cold drafts and excessive energy loss.
Permanently securing a WindoW closed �s not an aeceptable alternative.
The City must require you to eorrect the above listed items on or bePore
November 1g, 1g84 at Which time a reinspeetion Will be eonduoted to determine
