CONSIDERATION OF REAPPROVAL OF BROTTLUND ESTATES PROPERTY, 6431 APlD 6433
EAST RIVER ROAD, REQUESTED BY J. A. CADWALLADER III, DBA: REALTY WORLD:
Mr. Flora, Public Works Director, stated the Brottlund lst Addition Plat was
approved by the Council in 1978 with two stipulations, (1) that there be an
additional ten foot easement dedicated along East River Road and; (2) the
park fee of $600 be received. Mr. Flora stat;ed there were some problems and
the plat was not filed and, again, in i979 the Council reapproved the plat
with th e same stipulations.
Mr. Flora stated all the necessary items in order to file the plat have now
been completed and Mr. Brottlund is now requesting approval in order to
record the plat. He stated the City has not received the plat indicating
the ten foot easement nor the park fee.
Mr. Flora pointed out the ordinance was changed in 1981, and the park fee
now required is $1,000 per lot, therefore, a determination should be made
on the amaunt to be obtained for the park fee.
MOTION by Councilman Fitzpatrick to re-approve Brottlund's lst Addition,
with the stipulation there be an additional ten foot easement dedicated
along East River Road and a park fee of $600, as originally approved.
Seconded by Councilwoman Moses-Martin. Upon a voice vote, all voting aye,
Mayor Nee declared the motion carried unanimously.

C UNITY DEVELOPMENT BLOCK GRANT FOR 1982:
Counci an Schneider asked if it was the County's intent to have a task
force r iew the various proposals for the canmunity development block
grant fun
Mr. Qureshi, 'ty Manager, stated it is his understanding they will use the
same process as reviously.
MOTION by Councilwo n Moses-Martin to authorize the Mayor and City Manager
to enter into this ag ement witfi Anoka County for the Community Development
Block Grant Program for 982. Seconded by Councilman Schneider. Upon a
voice vote, all voting ay Mayor Nee declared the motion carried unanimously.

Mr. Flora, Public Works Director, tated the Fire Department has identified
a section of East University Servic rive between 57-1/2 Avenue and 60th
Avenue which did not have a fire hydr t to service this commercial area.
Mr. Flora requested the Council consider is change order in order to extend
a water line and install a fire hydrant at estimated cost of.$4,500.
MOTION by Councilman Fitzpatrick to authorize C ge Order No. 1 to Sewer
and Water Project No. 134 with Bonine Excavating, c. in the amount of
$4,458.19. Seconded by Councilman Schneider. Upon voice vote, all voting
aye, Mayor Nee declared the motion carried unanimousl

National Bank be added in its place.

A final inspection was conducted on March 27, 1985 of the above noted address
and the following items were noted which must be completed before the structure
can be finaled out:
l. Provide City with a copy of the verifying survey.
2. Provide sod in the front and side yards.
3. Provide a hard surface driveway.
4. Provide front steps to the structure.
5. Render patio door inoperative until deck is constructed.
6. Post address numbers on structure.
7. Remove old garage from property and clean up all debris on the site.
We will expect items #5 and #6 to be completed before occupancy of the structure;
Items #1 and #4 to be completed by April 15, 1985; and Items #2, #3, and #7 to
be co�npleted by June 3, 1985 when reinspections will be conciucted to determine
