erection of any building or "structuref or for anq addition to any existing build-
ing or structure, or for eny alteratioas or repairs to any exiatiag building or
structure, upon application�therefore, require the payment by the applicant for
� such p�rmit of fee� to the�aanount beretn below set forth and in the manner herein
provided to-wit:. ..
2.1. For any such permit for the erectidn of any f�re-proof building,
other than a garage, i�iarehouse, facto�y or grain elevato�� o� for the erection
of any fire•p�'oof add�tion, for aimilar pcc`i�p�nc�►, to any existing building,
shall t'se at the rate.of $1.40 for each o�ie thodsand cubic feet, or fraction.
