Johnson 7136 East River Road Fridley, Minnesota 55432 ANOKA COUNTY March 1, 1974 Re: Availability of Sewer to 7136 East River Road Dear Mr. Johnson: FRIDLEY, MINNESOTA 55421 An inquiry inta the availability of municipal sanitary sewer to 7136 East River Road has been requested. A review of the as-built drawings for construction of the sanitary sewer in the area indicated the sewer is at such a depth to accommodate a sewer service for the subject property. However, the sewer is located on the east side af East River Road (a County Roadway) approximately 90 feet distant from the east property line of the subject property. Due to the extremely high volume of traffic flow on East River Road, o�en trenching of the roadway for installation of the sewer service would probably not be allowed (Anoka County would have to authorize such a request). Augering or jacking the sewer service� across the right-of-way would be quite expensive. Therefore, though the municipal sanitary sewer is theoritically available, at this time it is economically unfeasible to provide a municipal sewer service. At a future date when East River Road would require additional improvements the secver service could be pro- vided at a more realis.tic construction cost. Also at the time the sewer service is extended to the property, a se�ver lateraT and ser- � vice assessment will be levied against the property.
