BUILDING PERMIT FEE SCHEDULE
SECTION 2. The Inspector of Buildings shall, before issuing permits fox Y�e
erection of any buildiaig or atructure, or for any addition to any existing
building or structure, or for any alteration or repairs to any exieting
building ox structure, upon application therefore, require the payment by the
applicant £or such pemnit of fees to the amount herein below set forth and in
the manner herein pravided to-wit:
UNIFORM BUILDING CODE: lqpe 1, 2� 4-$2.15 for each one thousand cubic
fee�, ox £xaction thereof, in such cubical coatents. Type 3� 5-$1.85 for
each one thousand cubic feet.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
Fox the puxpose of computing fees for building permite, the cubical contenta
of atly building or addition, is determined by multiplying the ground area
covsxsd from a point six (6) inches below the floor line of the basement
or �he �ellar to the average heighte of the�upper surface os to the average�
hei�ht ef the roof aurface of the main gable of a pitched roof.
For sepai.rs or alterations to an existing structure, the fee shall be at the
ra�e of $3.00 per each five huadred dollars ($500.00) or fraction thereof in
the cost of all proposed work.

A-Plus Roofing Co. proposes to install a new white GeaFlea RM membrane roof over the
southwestern section flat roof area on the 7895 building at River Point Apartments,
Fridley, (Approximately 6,700 sq. ft.) by:
• Remove the existing metal cant edge flashing and set aside for reinstallation.
• In areas where leakage has occurred we will tear off the existing roofing down to the
roof insulation and dispose of the roofing material and wet insulation.
• Replace any damaged, we and/or deteriorated insulation with new insulation of the
same thickness at a rate of $.85 per inch of thiclmess per square foot. Note: This
would be in addition to the contract amount.
• Replace any rotten, or delaminated plywood at a separate price based on a per square
foot rate of $1.50. NOTE: This will be an addition to the contract amount. If a
large area needs to be replaced the amount per square foot will be reduced.
• Install 1/2" wood fiber roof insulation over the entire area. The insulation will be
mechanically fastened throuqh the roof deck using corrosion resistant screws and
insulation plates; all joints will be staggered.
• Install 48 mil white GenFles RM membrane roofing system over the entire area,
mechanically fastened to the roof deck according to manufacturer's specifications.
• Install GenFlex RM parapet wall flashings on existing parapets.
• Install GenFlex RM prefabricated pipe flashings at all soil stack and flue
penetrations.
• Install GessFleg RM curb flashings at all HVAC units, chimney, vent box and roof hatch
locations.
• Install GenFles RM walkway pad by the roof hatch location.
• Install new scuppers to replace the existing scuppers on the building.
• Reinstall the existing cant edge metal flashing to the perimeter of the building.
• Clean up and haul all roofing debris from the premises.
TOTAL INVESTMENT FOR THE ABOVE DESCRIBED WORK: $25,500.00
