BUILDiNG PERMIT.FEE SCHEDULE
Section 2. The Inspector of Buildings sh�ll, before issuiag any perm�it for
the erection vf any buildiag or structure, or for aay addition eo aay exist-
ing building or atructure, or for any alt�rations or repairs to any exist3.n�
building or eeructure, upon application therefor, require the gayment by the
applicant fos such permit of fees tv the aanount hersia below set forth aud
in the mannes here3n provided Co-wit:
2.1. For any such permit for the erection o.f� any fire-proof building, other
than a garage� warehQUSe, factory or grain elevator, or.for-the erection of
any fire-proof addition, for similar occupancy, to any �zaciating building
shall be at the rate of $1.40 for each one thousaad cubic feet, or fraction
thereof, in such cubical coatenCe.
2.2. For any such permit for the erect3oa of any fire-proof garage, warehouse,..
factory or grein elevator, or for the erection of any fire-proaf addition,
for similar accupaacy, to anp existing buildiag shall be at the rate of $1.25
for each one thousead cubic feet, clasaified as °1fireproof" by Section 502 of
the Minneapolis-Building Cale.

than a garage, warehouse, factory or grain elevator, or any aon-fireproof
addition, for simflar occupancy, to any exiating building - permit �1.00 for
each ane thausand cubic feet.

2.4. For any auch permit for the erection of any non-firepraof garage, -
warehousa, factory. or grain eleva[or, or for Che erection of any non-fire}�ruo�f
additioa, �or--similar occupancy, ta any exiating buildiag or for each such
_._. -building or addition - niaety ceatis ($0.90) for each oae thousand cubic feet
or fsaetion thereof, ia the cubical contents thereof with a minimum of $4.OU.-
For Che putpo�e of camguting fees for building permite, the cubical contents
of auy building or additioa Co a uniform hei�ht throughout by mult3plyin� the
gr0und area covered from a point si� (6) inchea below the floor line of the .

Front Yard Setback Encroachments Due to Anoka County
Improvement Project, 8310 and�340 East River Road
I met with Mike Kelly and his appraiser, John Dahl, regar.ding the
above addresses the week of May 9, 1994. We met to review the 1995
improvement proj ect by Anoka County on East River Road from Kimball
Street north to 86th Avenue.
Only a handful of houses in Fridley will be affected by the
improvement project; 8310 and 8340 East River Road will become
nonconforming due to reduction in the front yard setbacks. Mike
Kelly informed me that the County would not apply for the
variances; however, they would inform the residents of the
encroachments and state that they would no longer be in compliance
with City requirements. It would then up to the individual owners
to apply for the variances.
