Carefully measure, cut to size and nail Va" chipboard to close the

Backwall:
The back wall top plate and shoe plate must be cut 7" ilwNer lhan
the desired width of the building so that it wlll fit between the
sidewalls. Proceed to build the b�k wall frame the same as for the
sidewalls. Note: Mark center of 1st. atud 20�iz" from end ai plate
then 24" thereafter.

Before applying the �/�" chipboard, the frame must be square.
Measure dtagonally from corner to corner, unttl the d(agonala are
equal. It may be necessary to tap the frame corners with a hammer.
SIDEWALIS/ BACKWALL SECTIONS
Nail the 4 x 8 sheets of chipboard to the asaembled frame with 6d
galv. nails, spacing the nails about 10" apart. Keep the aheet fluah
to the bottom o( the frame as shown In Fig. 2.
Raiae sidewalls and backwall, temporarily drive several 18d nafla
through the shoe plate fnto the concrete or blocks. Plumb the walle
by dropping a bob line and measuring the dfatance between the Iine
and the shoe. The wall is plumb when the Ilne measur� the same
distance from the top plate as from the ahoe plate.
