BOARD OF APPEALS
TO WHOM IT MAY CONCERN:
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN THAT the Boara of Appeals of the City of Fridley will
meet in the Council Chamber of the City Hall at 7:30 P.M. on Tuesday, July 13, 1971
to consider the following matter:
A request for a variance of Section 45.053, 4B,
Fridley City Code, to reduce the side yard
setback requirement from 10 feet to 9 feet 6 inches
to allow the construction of a dwelling and detached
garage on Lots 1 and 2, Block 14, Spring Brook Park
Addition, the same being 299 Ely Street N.E.,Fridley,
Minnesota. (Request by Mr. C. L. McCline, 4009 Arthur
Street N.E., Columbia Heights, Minnesota.)
Anyone desiring to be heard with reference to the above matter may be heard
at this meeting.

withouC any v�riances. Therefore this request is not necessary and is wiChdrawn.

reae�iv�d b�fore the meeting, This plan will be used for all three xequesfis. '�he plan
is �or a 4 bedxaom, split entry home. �'he size of tk�e house will be 21.�+ feet by
44.8 fe�� which is narrawer than the original house they w�re going to bui.ld. The
garage Wi�l be set on the back of the lot. The size of the lot is 44 fe�t by 128 ���t.
The k�ouse w#.11 fac� 2� Street and will be set back 35 feet.
Mx. $elis�.e shcawed an aerial map of the area to the Board. This mag ahowsd that
wheare thexe were buildings on or next to most of the corner lots, the �ide yard�
were a11 adequate and open. Mr. 8elisle stated to the Board that the City Cod� has
�o pxov�.sions such as setbacks, minimum fl.00r area, etc. for building c�n 40 fQOt �pts.
