BUILDTLIiG PERMtT F�E SCAEDULE
Section 2. The Inspector of Buildin�s shall, before i�suing any permit for
the erection of aaq building or structure, or for any addition Co aay exist-
ing building or ats�ucture, or for any alterations or repaira to any exis�ing
building or s�ructure, upon appl�.cation�therefor, require the paymen� by the
applicant for such permit of fees to the amouat herein below set forth and
in the manaer hereia provid�d to-wit:
2.1. For any such permit for the erection of any fire-proof building, other
ehan a garage� warehouse, factory or gra3a elevator, ar for the erection of
any fire-proof addition, for similar occupancy, to any existing building
ahall be �t the rate of $1.48 for each one thousand cubic feet, or fraction
thereof, in auch.cubical contents.
2.2. For aay such permit for �he erection o� any fire-proof garage, warehouse,
faetory or graia elevator, or for the erectioa of any fire-proof addition,
for similar occup�acy, to any existiag building shall br� at the rate of $1.25
for each one thousand cubic feet, claeaified as 01fireproof" by Sectiou 502 of
the Minneapolie Buildiag Code.

2.3. For any su�cb pezmit for the erection of any non-fireproof building other
than a garage, w�rehouse, factory or grain elevator, or any noa-firegroof
addit3.oa, for similar occupancq, to any euisting building - permit $1.00 for
each one thousend cubia feet.
GARAGES
2.4. For any such permit for the erection of any aon-fireproof garage,
warehouse, factory or grain elevator, os for the e�ection of any aon-fireproof
addition, for similar occupancy, to any existing buildiag or for each such
building or addition - ninety cents ($0.90) for e�ach one thouaand cubic feet
or fracCion thereof, in �he cubical conteats thereof with a minimum of $4.00.
Fos the purpose of campueing fees for building permits, the cubical contents
of any building or addition to a uniform height throughout by multiplying the
ground area covered fram a point six (6) inches below the,floor liae of the
basemeat or cellar to the average height of the upper surface or to the
average height of the roof surface of the main.gable of a pftched roo€.
2.5. For repairs or alterations to an exis�ing structure, the fee aha11 be
at the rate of $3.00 per each Five flundred Dollare ($500.00) or fraction
thereof in the cost of a11 progosed work.
2.6. In no case shall the fec: charged for anq permit as set forth in
Section 2 be less than $4.00.
