Springbrook Creek Erosion

Mrs. Kostuch at 8027 Fairmont Circle called on Wednesday, June 21, 1995, requesting
support for an erosion control project on her property located on Springbrook Creek.
I visited with her and a contractor regarding the proposed improvement. It was suggested
that Mrs. Kostuch contact her neighbor to the north and jointly submit a proposal to rip-
rap an eroding curve on Springbrook Creek The contractor was to prepare an estimate and
sketch which could then be submitted to the City. Mrs. Kostuch proposes to submit a
formal request to the City for_participating in the stream bank project. I indicated to her
that the maximum the Council would consider is a 50% participation based upon sloping
the bank, installing filter fabric and appropriate rip-rap.

The Chief Building Official shall, before issuing permits for the erection of any building or
structure, or for any addition to any existing building or structure, or for any alteration or repair
