erection of any building or strucCure, or for any addition to any existin� build-
ing or stsucture, or for any alterations or repairs to anq exietiag building or
structure, upoa application therefore, require the paymeat bq the applicaat for
auch permit of�fees to the amount herein below aet-forth aad in the.manner harei�..
provided to-wit; � .
2.1. For any auch permit for the erection of any fire-�proof building,
other thaa a garage, warehouae, factory or grain elevator, or for the erection
of any fire-proof addition, fot similar �ccupancy, to any existing building,
ahall be at the rate af $1.40 for each one thousand cubic feet, or fraction
tbereof, in such cubical contents.
2.2. �For any such permit for the erectiou of any fire-proof gara�e,
warehouae, factory or graia elevator, u� for the erection of any fire-proaf
addition, for similar occuparicy, to any existing building shall be at the rate
of $1.25 for ea.ch one thousand cubic feet, claseified as "fireproof" bp
Sect3on SQ2 of the Minneapolis Building Code.

other than a garage, warehouse, factory or grain elevator, or any non-firepraof

one thousand cubic feet.
