the erection of any buildiag or strtucture, or for any additioa to e.nq exist-
ing building or strucCure, or for arny alteratioas or repa�,rs to anq exi�ting
building or s�cruc�ure, upon �pplicat�ion therefor, require the gaymeat by the
appl3ca�t for such permit of fee� to the 8mount herein below set forth and
ia the manaer herein provided to-wit: "
2.1. For any such permit for the erection of aay fire-proof building, other
than a garage� warehouse, factory or grai.n elevator, or for the erection of
any fire-proof addition� for sim3lar occupancy, to anq exieting buildiag
ehall be aC the rate of $�,�,40 for e�ch one thousand cubic £eet, or fraction
thereof, in such cubical coatenta.

each one thousand cubic feet.

addition, for eimiiar occupancy, to any existing building or for each such
building or add3tioa - ainety centa ($0.90) for each one thouaand cubic feet

For Che purpose of compu�iag fees fmr building permits, the cubical contents
of any building or addition to a uaiform he3ght throughout by multiplying the
�round area covered fram a point six (6) inches below the flaor line of tbe
basemeat or cellar to .the aver�ge height of tha upper surface or to the
average height of the roof eurface of the maia gable of a pftched roof.
2.5. For repairs or alterations to an exiating structure, the fee shall be
at the r�te of $3.00 per each Five flundred Dollars ($500,00) or fraction
tinereof in the cost of all proposed work.
2.6. In no ca�e shall the fee charged for any p�rn�it as set forth in

SECTION 2. The Inspector of Buildings shall, befvre issuing permits for the
erection of any building or stxucture, or for any addition to any existing
building or structure, ox for any alteration or repairs to any existing
, building or structure., upon application therefore, require the payment by the

UIVIFORM BUILDING CODE: Type 1, 2& 4-$2.-15 for each one thousand cubic

For the purpose of computing fees for building permits, the cubical contents
