Se�tion 2. The Inspector of Buildings shall, before isst�ing any permit far
eh� esection o£ any building or structure, or for any add�tion �o aay ex�st-
i.ng bu�lding or structure, or for any alterations or repaixa to any e�tisting
building or st�ructure, upoa application therefor, require the pagmaen� by the
applican� for such permit of feea te� the amount herein below set forth and
in the manner herein provided to-wit:
2.1. For any such permit fdr �he erection o.� aay fire-proof buildin�, othes
th�a a.garage�_warehouse, factorjr or grain elevator� or for the erecCion of
any�ffre-proo€ addition, for aim�tlar occupancy, �o any exiating buildir�.�
shall be at the rate of $1.40 for each one thousand cubic feet, os frac�io�
Chereof, in such cubical coatenta.
2.2. Fox any such permit for the erection of anq fire-proof garage, warehouse,
�actory or grain elevator, or fer the erection of any fire-proof ac�diCioa�,

for each one thousand cubic feet, classified as °1fireproof" by Section 502 of

BUILDING PERMIT FEE SCHEDULE
SECTION 2. The Inspector of Buildings shall, before issuing permits for the
erection of any building or structure, or for any addition to any existing
building or structure, or for any alteration or repairs to any existing
building or structure, upon application therefore, require the payment by the
applicant for such permit of fees to the amount herein belaw set forth and in
the manner herein pxovided to-wit:
UNIFORM BUILDING CODE: Type 1, 2& 4-$2.15 for each one thousand cubic
feet, or fraction thereof, in such cubical contents. 1�►pe 3& 5-$1.85 for
each oae thousand cubic feet.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
For the purpose of computing fees for building permits, the cubical contents
of any building or addition, is determined by multiplying the ground area
covered from a point six (6) inches below the floor line oP the basement
or the cellar to the average heights of the upper surface or to the average.•
height of the roof surface of the main g�ble of a pitched roof.
For repairs or alterations to an existing structure, the fee shall be at the
rate of $3.00 per each five hundred doll�.rs ($500.00) or fraction thereof in
the cost of all proposed work.

V�RIFICATION OF FOUNDATION
NOTE: Percaits for construction will be issued a minimum of 24 hours fram the
time of application, to allow for proper review of the proposed structure and
of the construction site.
A Certified Survey of the lot, ahowing the location of the foundation, once it
has been constructed, will be required before proceedint� with the framing.
CERTIFICATE OF OCCUPANCY
Application for a Certificate of Occupancy shall be made ten (10) d�ys prior
to the uae or occupaacy qf any structure for which a building permit has been
iasued; and said structure shall not be u�ed or occup�ed until a Certificate
of Occupancy has beea issued. •
