RE: Plan Review for Private Pool at 7838 Firwood Way
The installation of this pool will be approved by me subject to
the enumerated items. The plaas are "weather-beaten" and impossible
to read in some areas. There are no specifications on the equipment
for this pool except a general informational sheet on the filters and
pump. Therefore, a number of things will be given comment.
l. Filter, pumps and skimmer shall be N.S.F. approved.
2. The turnover rate shall be less than twelve hours. I would
hope that it would be in the vicinity of eight to nine hours.
3. The vacuum lines (slei�ner and main drain� shall be separately
valved to provide control. Valving shall be at the filter.
4. Provide valves on the return lines if more than one line.
5. Provide a four foot deck around the pool.
6. A permanent fill line shall be provided over the edge of the
poo1. The lip of the fill spout shall be 6" above the edge of
the pool and protected from damage and creatiug a safety hazard.
7. The electrical equipment must be properly grounded to avoid any
safety hazard. Provide low voltage lighting if any is installed.
8. Adequate drainage shall be provided away from the pool on all sides.
9. Al1 underground lines shall be air tested.
10. No sewer lines shall be located within 20-30 ft. of the pool.
11. A minimum of a four foot fence with a self latching gate must
surround the yard.
