BUILDING PERMIT FEE SCHEDULE
SECTION 2. The Znspector of Buildings shall, before issuing permits for the
erection of any building or structure, or for any addition to any existing
building or structure, or for any alteration or repairs to any existing
building or structure, upon application therefore, require the payment by the
applicant for such permit of fees to the amount herein belaw set forth and in
the manner herein provided to-wit:
iTNIFORM BUILDING CODE: �pe 1, 2& 4-$2.15 for each one thousaad cubic
feet, or fraction thereof, in such cubical contents. Tj�pe 3� 5-$1.85 for
each oae thousand cubic feet.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
For the purpose of computing fees for building pe�its, the cubical contents
of any building or addition, is determined by multiplying the ground area
covered from a point six (6) i.nches below the floor line of the basement
or the cellar to the average heights of the upper surface or to the average.*
height of the roof surface of the main gable of a pitched ro�f.
For repaira or alterations to an existing structure, the fee shall be at the
rate of $3.00 per each five hundred dollars ($500.00) or fraction thereof in
the coat of all proposed work.
In ao case ahall the fee charged for any permit as set forth in Section 2 be
less than $5.00.
VERIFICATION OF FOUNDATION
NOTE: Pesmits for construction will be issued a minimum of 24 hours from the
time of application, to allow for proper review of the proposed structure and
of the construction site.
A Certifisd Survey of the lot, showing the location of the foundation, once it
hae beea constructed, will be required before proceedin� with the framing.
CERTIFICATE OF OCCUPANCY
Applicatioa for a Certificate of Occupancy shall be made ten (10) days prior
to the use or occupancy qf anq structure for which a building pennit has been
iasued; and said atructure shall not be used or occup�ed until a Certificate
of Oacupancy has been isaued. •

It was confirmed by an on site insp�;ction on September 29, 1978 that you
were maintaining a 1962 Ford Galaxyj expired 1976 License #MA 4872, on
the above listed property in a junk�3d, street inoperable condition.
Chapter 123 of the Fridley Ci.ty Cod� requires that all vehicles in
the City be currently licensed and 3n a street q�rable condition.
An alternative is to store said veh�cles within a builcling or at an
approved location, e.g. a licensed �unk yard.
Therefore, the City must require yoLl to remove said vehicle from this �
property or bring it into complianc� with tY� City Codes by either
licensing and putting the vehicle ir} a street operable condition,
placing.it within the confines of ajbuilding, or removing it to an
approved location.

In September of 1980, the City notified all owners of rental residential
housing units of the requirement to� provide a hard surface driveway and
parking stalls in accordance with Section 205.065, 4� of the Fridley
Zoning Code. This improvement is required to reduce street and storm
sewer mair�ienance due to sand, rocks, leafi litter an� miscellaneous
material washing into them; and for pedestrian and vehicular traffic
safety due to the skidding and sliding on material from unpaved driveways.
Since our previous notice, we have not been informed of your plans to
complete this work. Therefore, this letter is being sent as a reminder
of the requirement to provide and maintain a hard surface driveway and a
minimum of two off-street parking sialls for each dwelling unit, located at
the above listed address. Since the 1981 construction season is commencing,
it is acivantageous and appropriate �for you to now schedule the accomplishment
of this necessary work. ',
Your pasitive response to this need�d improvement will assist us in
evaluating your application to renew the rental license for the upcoming
year. We request that yau provide the City with your plan to complete the
subject work. Please return your response no later than May 1, 1981, to the
attention of the Code Enforcement Department.

The Chief Building Official shall, before issuing permits for the erection of any building or
strueture, or for any a.ddition to any existing building or structure, or for any alteration or repair
to any existi.ng building or structure, upon application therefore, require the payment by the
applicant for such permit of fees to the amount herein below set forth and in the manner herein
pmvided tawit:
VEi2IFICATION OF FOUNDATION
Permits for construction will be issued a minimum of 24 hours from the time of application to
allow for proper review of proposed structure and of the construction site.
A Certificate of Survey of the lot, showing the location of the existi.ng foundation will be
